The 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 series does not come with a cabin air filter. The vehicle has an HVAC system filter that is a mesh screen on it located in the engine compartment, but does not have a standard paper filter that You would normally find behind the dash. Dodge did this to help protect Your vehicle's AC components more, but it does not do as good of a job of filtering out dust and other allergens as a standard paper filter. You should check the screen every time that You change Your oil though to make sure that it is not clogged because that can lead to a reduction of airflow to the HVAC system.

The 2001 dodge ram 2500 cabin air filter location can either be under the dashboard behind the glove box, or it can sometimes be under the hood of the vehicle near the back.
