It rides great and it will pull a house down.
All of the Dodge dashes break. They all get bad gas mileage. All of their transmissions are weak and are expensive to replace.

My truck has a Cummins diesel motor and had proven to be very reliable.
I have had my truck for 15 years now. It has never left me stranded. I am not afraid to drive this truck anywhere. It is getting older now and some things are wearing out now but it is still comfortable to sit in and ride in for several miles at a time.

It is worth more now then when i bought it
Love how long they last. Wish parts weren't so expensive. Wish tires lasted longer

It's durable and reliable. It fits two wheelchairs in it. It has horrible gas mileage since the big vehicle
It's not Glamorous by any means but it gets from point A to point B.

It can haul anything, but still get great mileage.
It is a good work truck. I like the heavy manual transmission, and the diesel engine. I wish the body was designed better so the wheel wells and doors didn't rust so easily.

Four wheel drive cummins turbo.
I bought this truck used in 2005 with low miles and a good price. It is been a good dependable truck. I also pull a horse trailer with it. I love the heated leather seats in the wintertime. It also has the wood grain in the dash which is nice, good radio, air conditioning, cruise control and is four wheel drive. It gets decent mileage and has the cummins turbo in it. For the age of the truck I have had to put new brake lines in and replace some bearings and had to replace the front end.

I won't sell my van to anyone. It's the best reliable van out there.
I love my van. It's been the best vehicle I've own. I've lived in it for nine months. Very roomy and great gas miles on highway.

They are very reliable cars.
Like the sound and feel of the truck. It has a tuff feel to it. How ever the dashboard is made of a very cheap plastic.

It's the most reliable truck I've ever driven and I love it
Good truck runs amazing and I would trust that ting to drive across the country and day old but drives straight and smooth as could be

This has been a great reliable truck that I will hate to get rid of.
This has been a dependable truck for years. Not fancy but gets the job done. Few years ago had to replace the head gasket and the starter messed up twice but was able to easily replace. Did great pulling my 5th wheel camper when I moved across the state a few times.

Great driving truck dodge fan for life.
It is a great vehicle, looks and runs great!! It is white with grey interior. I've had it for 8 years going in nine and only thing I have had to change is the water pump!! Low miles new tires new windshield wipers, only has a few cosmetic dealings that is its.

A great full size pickup with lots of power!
190,000 miles and still running strong with lots of get up and go power featured with a v10 engine. This truck is a workhorse! Very roomy with comfortable leather seating. Quad cab for extra passenger seating or fold up the seats for gear storage. 4wd for off road travel and exploring. Towing package. Strong engine for towing. Biggest downfall is poor gas mileage. Averages 10-12 mpg. Otherwise, this truck is very dependable and a pleasure to drive!

Great towing capacity and engine dependability. Has issues with dashboard breaking down from sun exposure
Vehicle has lots of horsepower and is dependable and highly desired with a good resale value. Do not like the miles per gallon or common A/C issues

It is a smooth ride and the gas mileage is great.
No back up camera. Diesel is getting too expensive and gas mileage is not very good. Bouncy ride on long trips.

Great size truck for a short person.
The truck is a nice size, single cab, with long bed. 4 wheel drive works great in the snow. Came with a bed liner which is great.

2001 24v auto extended cab Dodge Ram 2500.
The 24v Cummins engine is a hard-working, long-lasting motor that will last forever when taken care of. The interior plastic is of poor quality and the dash is usually nonexistent in this generation of pickups. The body is more durable than more recent vehicles. The automatic transmission usually needs replaced after the 250k mile mark. I highly recommend a 5 speed for this motor and body.

Still going strong 2001 Dodge ram.
Extremely easy to travel many miles a day comfortably. If I get tired, the front or back seat is comfortable for me to sleep on. My 6 foot husband can also sleep just not as comfortable. We have over 200, 000 miles and we are just now seeing small items needing to be fixed. Nothing major yet, we use the "Verizon hum" plug in and it has showed several codes in the last 6 months. Cost &800 to repair dipstick holder, (broken by repair person). That is all except tires and tune ups that have been required since we purchased from father for $10, 000 in 2010.

The 24v Cummins is a hard-working, long-lasting motor that will last forever when taken care of. The plastic is cheap and cracks easily. The dashboard in this generation of pickup is usually nonexistent.

It is big loud and is made with tools not chopsticks.
Very reliable better than a Ford or crappy Chevy big motor and great 4WD great for living in the boonies.

It is mine and they can't have it. It is almost paid for and I don't think I will ever get rid of it.
I love that it is a diesel, which produces more torque and has plenty of horsepower for towing. It is comfortable and roomy. It is four wheel drive and has a long bed for additional storage space.

It's been very dependable. I haven't had to put a lot of work into it other the normal oil change, tires, etc.
It's been a good dependable truck for the 4-5 years I've had it. I wish it got better gas mileage. I wish the back seat was full sized.

2001 dodge ram 2500 24 valve cummins turbo diesel
I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9l 24 valve cummins. I am the second owner of this truck and I absolutely love it. I have had dodge vehicles my entire life and never had any big problems. Parts are easy to come by and reasonable price. With a few basic upgrades the truck rides amazing. I get around 17mpg through town. The only downfall to the 2nd generation dodge trucks is their transmission. Other than that I have nothing but good to say about it.
