It's not uncommon for one of the Ford F-150's brake lights to quit working and it may simply be due to a faulty bulb. In that case visit Your nearest auto supply shop for a new bulb and some usually free installation. On other occasions it may need a blown fuse replaced. The brake light fuse should be located in the driver's side fuse panel of the cabin. Look to the left of the driver's knee under the side dash panel. \p> External lights are usually controlled by these fuses. Replacing an electrical plug is not costly and can be performed by the owner. Consult the flip side of the panel's cover to determine the correct amperage and plug.
