The ECM relay in a 2001 Nissan Frontier is in the fuse panel that is located under the dash on the driver's side up near the gas pedal. This is the main relay that controls Your engine control module. The engine control module is used to control all of the parts of Your engine including the air, fuel, and spark timing.
