On the far right side of the engine compartment, on the driver's side of the car, the fuel pump relay in the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 can be found. It will be near the battery terminals on the left side panel and it is between the assembly of the air filter and the battery. The relay will be placed on the lower side of the fuse panel and You will need a fuse removal tool or a flat head screwdriver to remove it. If You replace this and it does not fix the problem, You can test the next relay, which is the MFI that could cause the fuel pump to not get power. Depending on the brand and quality of the brand, the cost for a fuel pump relay will vary from $5 - $20.

The 2002 dodge ram 1500 fuel pump relay will be in the engine fuse/relay box right behind the battery, flip the panel box over and look at the diagram. It should be a big blue 20 amp mega/box fuse.
