Failure of the 2002 Honda CR-V's PCV valve can cause oil leaks or a whistling and moaning noise while operating the engine. It is NOT located on the firewall. That makes no sense at all. The Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve is located on the engine block. If you are facing the front of the car, it is to the left of the intake manifold and to the right of the alternator, look down low. It will have a long rubber hose coming off of it, running across the front of the engine bay.
