What is the 2002 Jeep Wrangler blend door actuator location?

The blend door actuator on a 2002 Jeep Wrangler is up underneath the dash below the glove box. It is held in place with three 5/16-inch hex head screws. These screws are not torqued very tight, and You may be able to turn them with Your fingers and a socket on an extension. If not, connect the extension to a ratchet. Once the screws are removed, the actuator will remain in place. You will have to pull wit some force to get it out. A new actuator will cost between $30 and $50 and it will take less than an hour to replace. If You have a repair shop replace it for You might have to fork over $50 to $70 per hour for labor costs.
