The stock speakers in a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban are 6-¾ in the front and rear doors. Most Audio packages also include a pair of 1 tweeters mounted in the corners of the dashboard on the A pillars. To remove the stock speakers You will need to remove the front and rear door panels so You can access the mounting locations. Most people chose to replace the stock 6-¾ speakers with 6-½ ones because they are more common and are offered at a wide range of prices. To accomplish this You will need to use a set or adapters that allow the smaller woofer to mount in the larger factory hole. These adapters are inexpensive and easy to use so that is the method most people choose when upgrading.

The 2003 chevy suburban uses a 6-3/4" speaker in the front and a 5--1/4" in the rear.
