The 2003 Ford F-250 has two main fuse panels. The one in the passenger compartment is located under the driver side dash to the left of the steering wheel. Usually above the brake pedal. The second fuse panel is found in the engine bay located behind the air filter. This one will have a plastic cover that is held on with plastic clips. The specific fuse for the tail lights is different for each model of the truck so You will need to use the owner's manual or the diagram found on the inside of the panel cover. When You find the blown fuse You have to replace it with one rated for equal amperage, do not use a higher rated fuse because that can lead to more damage if something causes it to blow again.

The brake light relay on the vehicle can be found in the power distribution center, which is under the dashboard or tucked away underneath the hood.
