The 2003 VW Beetle has two different fuse boxes one is in the car and one is outside under the hood. The fuse panel in the engine compartment is located on the right driver's side of the vehicle near the battery terminals. There will be a diagram on top of the lid of the box which will tell You what each fuse is used for which is mainly the exterior lights, A/C system, horns, and alarm. The interior fuse box can be found on the driver's side footwell under the instrument panel. This will house the interior components such as the power windows, radio, moon roof, navigation, etc.. Fuses will range from an ampere rating of 7.5 to 30 depending on the amount of power required for the system.
