The length of the bed on the 2004Chevrolet Silverado with the extended cab iS78.7 inches. You'll also have 63.8 inches width in the bed, except at the wheelhousings, where it's only 50 inches. The sides of the bed come up 19.5 inches, giving You 56.9 cubic feet of cargo volume there in the back. You've got a ground clearance of 8.3, though that'll sink a little if You really load up Your truck. The maximum trailer weight You can haul, by the way, is going to be 5200 pounds, and You shouldn't put more than 520 pounds of weight on the tongue. Your engine can give 260 net torque at 2800 RPMs, and produces 195 horsepower at 4600 RPM, so that'll give You some play in what You toss in the bed or behind Your Silverado.

The 2004 chevy silverado's bed can extend to 97.2 Inches, more than enough space for all your hauling and towing needs.

Chevs smallest v-8 produces 270 ponies which is about 30 to 40 more than both dodge and fords small v-8. And have you ever seen aford f 150 with more than 300k km? They are very rare.
