The 2005 Chevy Impala has A5 X115mm bolt pattern on the wheel. This means that Your wheels have 5 lugs on them and they are eacH115 millimeters away from each other. When You are shopping for new wheels You should make sure they have this exact bolt pattern. There are adapter plates that are on the market but they can be a weak spot and damage Your wheel hubs or Your wheels themselves so I recommend avoiding them. Typically a tire and wheel shop should be able to give You a selection of wheels that will fit Your car. In general You also do not want to go more than two inches larger than stock because that can lead to rubbing while You turn.
