The 2007 Honda CR-V uses OEM Honda long life coolant. Honda has developed their own coolant that will give superior performance for their engines and that is why they recommend it. Do not ever mix different types of coolant in Your radiator. Mixing coolants can reduce the cooling capacity and damage the lines. If You do not know what coolant You have in Your engine I recommend topping it off with distilled water until You can confirm the coolant type. A Honda dealership will always use OEM coolant, but a third party shop may have used something different after a coolant flush. You should make an effort to check Your coolant levels every time that You change Your oil to keep Your engine running well and prevent overheating.
