The 2008 Ford Edge has a P235/65R17 size tire on the SE and a P245/60R18 size tire on the SEL and Limited trims. The tire number seems complex when You look at it the first time, but when You know what each number means it is pretty easy to dissect. The first number, 235 or 245 here, is the tire's width in millimeters. The next number, 65 or 60, is the tire's sidewall height in millimeters. The last number, 17 or 18 here, is the diameter of the wheel in inches. This means that Your Edge will have either a 17 or 18 inch wheel on it from the factory, and the SEL and Limited trims have a slightly wider tire for better traction as well.
