The 2010 Ford Focus came with the option of either A4-speed automatic or A5-speed manual transmission. Models equipped with the automatic will have a fluid capacity of 6.9 US quarts while models equipped with the manual will have a capacity of just 2 US quarts. If You are using a manual then You will need to use Dexron VI fluid while the automatic will get the best performance from using Motorcraft LV fluid. No matter which one You have You will need to do a fluid change around every 45,000 miles. If You want to take it in to a shop to have it done You will spend between $80 and $130 depending on where You go and what model You have.
