Provided Your Honda Civic hasn't been any accidents and You're seeing the SRS light You can do a reset using a screwdriver, paper clip, and needle nose pliers. First open the fuse box panel located under the dashboard. You'll need to look for what's called the Memory Erase Signal connector which is a yellow plug. Use the paperclip to short the wires by placing it in the two holes. Place Your key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position. The SRS indicator will turn off after which You should quickly pull one side of the paperclip. The SRS light will turn on again. Reinsert the paperclip in no less than four seconds. The light will go out once more blinking twice which means the memory was reset. Turn the ignition off waiting for at least 10 seconds before starting the car again.

Switch the ignition key to the' on' position (do not start the engine) to reset the 2012 honda civic airbag light sensor with this connection made. The srs lights up for two seconds, and then turns off. When the light is switched off, the shorting wire disconnects to un-short the circuit. The srs light switches on again. Remember that it is not advised to reset the airbag sensor, and may result in injury.
