The 2016 Ford F-350 came with two very different engine options. The standard motor was A6.2L V8 but they also offer the much more powerful 6.7L diesel powerstroke engine. The standard engine will have a capacity of 7 US quarts when the filter is included. The type of oil You're going to need to use will be 5W-30 no matter what climate You are driving in. Owners of a model equipped with the diesel engine will need to use a staggering 13.1 US quarts for a full fill up. The oil type is going to very but the standard oil You should use should be 10W-30 for normal usage and 5W-40 for strong workloads.

For some reason when I flush the oil for my 2016 f350 super duty XLT 6.7L. I've collected more than 13 quarts. I've filled up a 5 gallon bucket from home depot. I don't think is normal anyone out there might know why? It also was new from the dealer and the technician dosen't know why.
