The 2018 Chevy Colorado will come standard with A-ClasS3 trailer hitch that has a 2 inch in diameter receiver. This will be the same for all trim levels of this truck. The maximum towing capacity can vary froM3,500 to 7,000 lbs depending on which options and upgrades You have equipped on this vehicle. The base model 2.5L 4Cylinder engine will only be able to tow 3500 pounds while the diesel 2.8L engine will be able to tow at least 5000 pounds but up to 7000 pounds. If You have the need for a better towing truck You may want to look at Chevy's Silverado series.
