The Chevy Malibu throttle position sensor recall was in regards to defective sensors. These sensors check to make sure the car is running correctly and that the throttle is doing what it needs to do. The sensor was not working, so the car was over throttling. This is bad for the engine and can kill it in time. The sensors were replaced for free, though if You were to play for it then it would cost You about 300 dollars. This is for older models so if You have a new one they may not cover it.

I recently got my vehicle back at the end of February. Within the first 2 days I had a light come in engine power reduced. I took it back to the dealership and was told this had something to do with the accelerator pedal. They changed the pedal at least 5 times. Yesterday while driving the entire accelerator pedal came off and was dangling by a wire and towed back to the dealership. Is there something I should know about this car?
