The stock speakers in the Ford Edge are size 6-½ for the front doors with 6-¾ in the rear doors. Some models also include 3-½ speakers in the center of the dash for true surround sound and a separate set of tweeters in the front doors to even out the high end of the system. It is pretty easy to replace the front and rear door speakers, the biggest thing You have to watch out for is that You dont get a replacement with a magnet that is too big to fit and still allow the window to roll all the way down. The center dash speakers are also easy to upgrade by just removing the plastic grill and unscrewing them.
