The Ford Escape does not have a full-size spare tire but it does come with a compact size spare. This tire is kept in the back of the vehicle, under the floor. If You look in the back You will see a seam in the carpet when You can lift up a panel. Inside the panel, You will find the tire, as well as the jack and lug wrench You need to put it on.To remove the tire You can simply unscrew the large nut on the center of it. Once the nut is removed You can lift the tire right out. You can store the other tire here when You swap. Do not drive longer than You need on a spare tire.
