Removing the rear sates on a Ford Escape is a fairly easy process. You will need to use sockets and wrenches to be able to remove it. You will want to pry the plastic covers off the bottoms of the seat rails where they meet the body of the SUV. Once those are off You can begin to remove the bolts that hold the seat rails to the floor of the car. Once those are all out You can fold down the seat and remove it. It is usually easier to remove it through the rear of the car rather than use a side door. You should always put the bolts You take Outback in the holes so You do not lose them and so the threads in the car do not get damaged.
