Removing the front axle shaft on a Ford F-350 is likely going to require a tremendous amount of strength. Once You have the tire and wheELRemoved, You'll need to gain full access to the axle shaft assembly. To do this, get the bearing and hub out of Your way by loosening (or removing) some of the suspension components. Unfortunately, from this point, there's really no trick. It's going to require a lot of sheer force; a slide hammer is a nifty tool if You have access to one. It can be difficult to get a good grip on the shaft though, so I recommend using something like a chain -- that's worked for me in the past. Other drivers report being able to pry with a flathead screwdriver or similar, but I've never had much luck with that method. Never know what will work for You though.
