The Ford F-350 employs a 21mm socket wrench to secure the lug nuts that should be tightened to 165 lb/ft. Of torque. The thread measures M14-2.0 and the length of the fastener is 24mm. The "hex" of a nut refers to the diameter of the top of the lug nut and also the socket size needed to secure it. Thread size refers to the diameter of the nut's shaft and the space in between the shaft's grooves or "threads". The lug nut pattern of the F-350 iS8 X6.5 inches or 165mm. This means the wheel is secured with 6 bolts or nuts that form a circle with a diameter of 6.5 inches or 165mm. MM stands for millimeters and most wheel bolts are measured and ordered using the metric system.

I just tried a 13/16 and a 7/8. I'm trying to figure out what to order. Last tire change (on I-95!) with just a factory lug wrench was a nightmare. The 13/16 wouldn't go on, and the 7/8 was just a hair loose. I'm thinking maybe a 22mm. Going to stop by a buddy of mine's shop tomorrow and try one of his out for size.
