The Ford F-350 uses Mercon V for the power steering fluid. If You are adding fluid and You are not sure what type You have then don't add anything until You find out. Mixing different types of power steering fluid can reduce the effectiveness of them and potentially damage Your power steering pump or lines. I recommend checking Your power steering fluid every time that You change Your oil to make sure that it is full and does not have any damage to it. You will want to also inspect the lines that run from the reservoir and pump all the way to the steering box to make sure they are dry and free from leaks.
