Depending how deep You need to go into the Ford Focus's dashboard, the removal procedure is actually strikingly simple. First and foremost, You'll want to ensure that You take especially good care of the passenger's side airbag; it's located on the top of the dash -- predictably on the passenger's side of the vehicle. There's a single screw toward the vent that You can find behind and above the glove box. This is really the only hardware securing the passenger's side dash in place. Everything else should be gently pried off with a hard plastic pry bar. If You're using metal (including a flathead screwdriver -- my weapon of choice), You'll want to be extra careful that You don't damage the plastic. The driver's side is held on by two screws in the cluster above the instrument panel. The center is held on with four screws, two of which are behind the center console and 2 are on top behind the vents. The rest of the job is the same -- pry, pull, and pray.
