Whenever Your radio is not working in Your Ford Focus the first thing that You should try doing is reset the unit. All You will need to do is turn the radio off by pressing and holding the volume button then hold the number 6 button as You turn it back on and that should reset it. If You want to do a master reset then You can go to the menu button on Your screen, scroll down until You get to SYNC settings. Press OK, then scroll down until You get to master reset. Once You get there press OK, and then OK again to confirm and that will reset the entire radio back to factory settings.

I tried to reset it off and on number six but it doesn't work the only thing that it gives me is menu clock settings and display everything else does not work

Turn the radio off and and hold button 6 as you turn it back on.
My car won't even go to the settings my car is a 2011 Ford focus and it will not turn on or off it just says ford focus premium sound it has the temp on their and the north southwest and east letter but thats it how is this happening and howcan it be fixed

I disconnected the positive terminal from the battery, and reconnected after 1/2 minute. Problem was not playing with key off

My radio/cd was showing a 'drive fault'. I reset the unit by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, put in the code. It has worked fine since, (obviously make sure you have the code first).
