In order to reset the service light indicator on Your Ford Ranger 3.2L You're first going to need to put Your key in to the ignition and give the vehicle power but do not start the motor. Now You're going to want to press down both the gas and brake pedals for 30 seconds. Once the time is You'll need to start the engine. Yo should now be able to see if Your light has been reset. If the light is still active You may need to try these steps again but hold down the pedals for longer.

Turn your key to the on position without staring. Pres both brake and gas pedal to the floor at the same time for 20 seconds. Release and start the engine. Service light should be off.

Check to see if there is a software update due, install it and try again - this worked on my 2018 PX3 2.0 bi-turbo
