What is the ford ranger anti theft system reset procedure?

I broke the ignition out of my Ford ranger 2000 how can I bypass the theft system

The car is not starting. Flashing red light key shows that it is locked. How can we solve this?

My 2002 Ford Ranger runs fine and there is nothing wrong but there is a flashing theft light on my dashboard gauge cluster next to the shifter and below the spedometer. How do I disable it

THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME: I have a ’99 Ford Ranger with manual windows and locks. I don’t have a FOB. I lost my only key. I had a locksmith cone and cut a new key and program it. It took him 2-3 hours to do that, then he spent 2-3 hours more trying to figure out why the key wouldn’t work before giving up, thinking there must be something wrong with my truck. Btw, the theft light is supposed to blink every 2 seconds when key is out (as deterrent to thieves) , and should go out after it starts or in the start position longer than 2 seconds. My light would blink with the key out, but when I was in the start position it would stay on solid. I could crank my engine (ree-ree-ree-ree) but it would not start. This is what I did: Disconnect the battery - Put the key in the ignition in the “start” position - Reconnect the battery - - Turn the key to the off position - Start the car normally. That’s it! Note: After disconnecting the battery, a friend dropped by so my battery was disconnected for about an hour before I put the key in and reconnected it. I don’t think that matters, but if it doesn’t work, maybe try with the battery disconnected longer.

If you find yourself in the position where you have broken your ignition pull all of the guts out use a screwdriver turn it to the on start position go under the hood and jump the solenoid truck will fire right up

Place the key in the ignition, then turn the key to run, and back to the stop position. Repeat eight times, then leave the key in the "on" position. If the doors lock, the system has been reset.

2009 Ford Ranger it starts great no promble but than lights will come on random for 1 or 2 secs than go off what can it be and i did not have lights on and on dash board it flash showing vehicle with ? But i was not given alarm they did not have one & dealership Ford said they do not make it for that truck any more

Have a 99 ranger the column has been changed due to knocking the switch out put a new one in now the dash lights will not come on but the thief light keep flashing and want turn over what can i do

2001 Ranger : Make sure your battery is fully charged. This worked on the third try! Once You have turned it on You will then want to turn it back to the off position. Now repeat this process 8 more times, and make sure You do it in under 12 seconds.

I have a 2012 ford ranger 3.2. I took out the injectors i opened them and cleaned it after all that I've put them back. So the batry where connected the hole time.and now no engine light. No start. Please help
