It is very easy to remove the center console in the Ford Ranger all You need is a wide flat blade screwdriver. Remove the plastic inserts in the cup holders and set them aside. Use Your screwdriver to pry up and pull out the rubber pad below where the cup holders were. Each cup holder spot has a cam lock clip at the very bottom insert the screwdriver and rotate about 1/4 of a turn counterclockwise to release it, once You feel it stop it will be unclipped. Now You can just pull the console straight up and it will be free. Be careful when turning the cam locks because they could be brittle and break.
