Removing and replacing the headliner in a Ford Ranger is a relatively simple procedure, but will require a few hours of Your time. You should plan fortwo, but potentially block out more -- things never go as simply as they should, am I right You'll need to remove each of the trim pieces surrounding the headliner -- including the door trim, pillar trim, sun visors, etc. Once these are free, the entire headliner should remove. To resurface and recover, You may or may not need to remove the old material -- this depends on what the condition is like. If it's fairly ripped and beat up, You'll need to remove it for the new adhesive to stick. Once the headliner piece is prepped, measure out Your new suede or other material. Lay down a good, strong, automotive spray adhesive, affix the new material, trim any over-measurement, and replace the headliner once it dries.
