The only method of resetting the Ford Transit Custom's AdBlue warning light involves updating software causing the malfunctioning warning. Most often this requires a visit to a qualified dealership. If the indicator is activated due to low levels of DEF fluid, You may top up the tank and turn the key to the "on" position. Leave the fob for at least 30 seconds without starting the Transit's engine and then cycle off. The AdBlue light should power off. Alternatively, some owners have found draining the contents of the AdBlue tank and refilling with OEM specified products resets the warning. Faulty pump sensors can also cause a malfunction and require the replacement of the pump in some circumstances.
