Removing the Ford Transit's rear bumper can be a pain, but it's not impossible for the hobbyist or automotive novice to reasonably complete. Something to note is that if a factory hitch is installed, the rear bumper is removed; all You're really looking at, if You've got a hitch receiver, is the bumper cover. This makes removal and installation remarkably easy. However, if You don't have a hitch receiver (or if You've got an aftermarket hitch installed), You'll need to locate the SRX TorxBolts that hold the bumper cover in place. They're located inside the rear hatch. Once these are removed, You'll find several plastic clips and metal hardware holding the bumper in place; once these are all removed, You should be able to drop it.
