The most likely cause for Your Honda CR-V not starting is going to be a dead battery. When a battery is in a low power state and You try to start the engine or even just turn on the ignition it can cause all kinds of weird warning lights and system malfunctions including a brake system warning. All of these systems require 12 volts to function properly and when they do not get enough voltage they freak out. The quickest way to correct the issue is get a jump start from a vehicle with a properly charged battery. Once You have started the CR-V make sure not to turn off the engine until You have driven for at least 20-30 minutes so the battery has had a chance to fully recharge.

You were spot on! Woke up to a 2018 crv that wouldn't start and the dash was sending 'yelling' at me. Was able to charge it and drove it to get a spanking new battery. Was happy it died at home... Drove 500+ home yesterday! Thanks for your original post!
