The most common gearbox problem in a Honda Insight is that the automatic transmission (CVT) can have a "shudder" due to a worn start clutch. Replacing the start clutch should correct thiS-TYPE of shudder condition. There has also been a known issue with hearing a knocking noise coming from the CVT gearbox when accelerating; when the vehicle is in motion; or when putting it into D. The CVT gearbox is very complexAnd several things could go wrong. If Your transmission is having issues, You may experience a slippage feel while on the road. When this occurs it will feel as though the gears are slipping for no reason.

The most common gearbox problem in a honda insight is related to the gearbox synchro ring failing and hunting for gears.
Hello everyone. I have problem with my automatic transmition on honda insight. I can't shift gears, the shift lever won't move. I checked all the electrical fuses. I had the same problem a while ago, then it was from a blown fuse, but now they are fine
