You'll need to use a 13 mm (metric) wrench for the oil drain plug on the 2008 Ford Escape. If You've lost the drain plug itself, You can pick up a replace from Advance Auto Parts, part number 090-938CD, the Dorman Autograde Oil Drain Plug Pilot Point M14-1.50, for $6. Not sure what You're looking for If You look on the bottom of the engine oil pan, You'll see a single bolt, which functions as Your oil drag plug. To unscrew it, put the socket on the plug and turn it in a counterclockwise direction. Once it's been loosened, You can use Your hand to remove the plug. Please note, You absolutely shouldn't do this when Your oil is hot, unless You're that dude from the Fantastic Four who's always on fire, cause it's going to burn Your skin. Heed this advice!
