If You have the 2004 Toyota 4Runner with A4.7 L V8 engine then You're going to want to use 6.5 quarts of 5W-30 motor oil. You can also use 5W-20 as an acceptable substitute if You'd like but the 5W-30 is recommended. Conventional oil is also fine but You may want to consider a full synthetic at some point. You'll notice better starting in cold weather, a bit of a boost to fuel efficiency, and it has a better viscosity index which will work well to keep that V8 engine running longer. When using synthetic You should try to change out Your oil every 7,500 miles rather than the 5,000 with conventional oil. -
