The 2015 Toyota RAV4 XLE has a 2.5 L 4Cylinder engine that takeS4.6 quarts of oil with a filter. The type that it takes is 0W-20 in all temperatures. If 0W-20 is not available then it is okay to use 5W-20 once but 0W-20 must be used the very next time. Oil is used mainly to keep the engine clean and working smoothly. The oil and the filter in the RAV4 should be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. The cost per quart is around $8 to $13 or around $37 to $60 to fill up the full 4.6 quarts. You can take it to a mechanic to get it changed but it would cost anywhere from $40 to $60 in labor costs.
