The type of power steering fluid that should be use din the 2002 Toyota Camry is DEXRON-III. The capacity for the vehicle is l liter or 1.05 US quarts. Power steering fluid is hydraulic fluid that transfers the power in the steering system and makes it easier to turn the wheel. You should change the power steering fluid every 60,000 miles or so. You'll know when it is low or need to be changed when it is harder to turn the wheel, when the steering is loud or shrill or when there are stains under the vehicle. The cost to change the power steering fluid if taken to a mechanic is anywhere from $160 to $200 in labor costs and extra for parts.
