The 2016 Chevy Equinox is going to have a maximum towing capacity oF-1500 pounds. This will be the same for all trim levels and Chevy didn't offer any kind of towing package upgrade so all models are going to be stuck with this capacity. It's a bit of a low capacity when compared to other similar suvs. You're not going to be able to take any kind of travel trailer along except a tent trailer. If You're takeng a workload You're going to have make sure in advance it's under the limit as this could cause some major damage to the vehicle.
