The tow haul button on the Toyota Sequoia is for pulling more stuff. It will shift the way the vehicle works, making it so You have more traction and pulling power. This is rough on the car though, and should not be used unless You are pulling something.

The tow feature isn’t really hard on the truck, what it does is……drops the transmission to three gears instead of four to put more pressure on the transmission so it doesn’t slip.
