From model year 2005 until model year 2015, the Toyota Tacoma housed its OBD2 port in the same location. It's a bit difficult to find, but with some guidance, You should be there in no time. You're going to want to look to Your parking brake, and then immediately look up. This will be on Your lower dash, to the left side of the steering wheel. While it's the same location as many other vehicles that You may be used to, it's a bit different because in the Tacoma, Toyota hides it a bit with the panel. Once You know where it is, You should be able to connect to it by running the cord up from the emergency brake area -- You shouldn't have to remove any paneling.
