The 1.6L 4Cylinder diesel engine will need to run on diesel #2 fuel. The 2.0L 4Cylinder turbo engine will need to run on premium fuel with at least 91 octane for it to run properly. All of these models will have a fuel tank capacity of 15.6 U gallons.

I just discovered a year after I've owned my 2019 Chevy Equinox redline edition that it is recommended to use Premium gas 89 or 93. Because of the turbo.
