The kind of gas the Chrysler 300c takes is regular gasoline. Having the fuel burn efficiently is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the beSTShape. You will come into problems at some point. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite a hassle to deal with. There could be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. The gas tank can become loose. A faulty control valve may arise. Car parts will eventually become ineffective at some point. The fuel filter needs to be changed every 30,000 miles. If it doesn't, You will come across problems with the performance.

Chrysler recommends that you use a mid grade 89 octane gas for the 5.7L and premium 91 octane for the 6.4L.

I use 89 octane in my 2018 300C. It's completely stock with the exception of a KN cold air. I run it a couple times per month at my local NHRA Dragstrip. My average 1/4 mile average is 13.78 - 103 mph pulling no weight from the car and dropping rear air pressure to 29lbs with 1/4 tank of 89. I've run with with 93 octane with no improvement, so I continue to stay with the 89. I have been researching using E85 that appears to require some modifications to run that fuel. Since my car still has factory warranty. I've decided to stay away from tunes or mods that would void my warranty. I would like to change exhaust, but the factory rumble is enough for what I want from a luxury performance sedan. In short. I don't want a louder exhaust. I love my 300C and it's factory performance added to the luxury look and feel of the car. Otherwise I would have gone with a Charger RT and given up the mocha Napa leather and that unique Chrysler 300 look. I have some questions regarding OBD,-ll plug in tuning. I'm wondering if they work and issues that occurs both good and bad.
