The 2016 Chrysler 300 factory specifications define the type of oil as SAE 5w-20, but You can also use SAE 0w-20. One thing to note, however, is that You can't mix it and the engine should be drained before using another form of gasoline. The oil volume of the car engine iS6 quarts or 5.6 liters for the Pentastar 3.5 L v6 engine. This is suggested by the factory specifications for the quantity recommended to be used when replacing the oil and oil filter for its service interval. When selecting the oil for the car, make sure that it is the right kind, but also check for the API certification seal because this lets You know that the oil is licensed for use on all vehicles produced by Mopar. WIth Conventional You will have to change the oil every 3500 miles and for full synthetic, You will have to do a replacement oil and filter every 5500 to 7000 miles.
