The 2005 Chevy Suburban useS5w30 full synthetic motor oil. The oil capacity iS6 quarts with a new filter. Your vehicle requires engine oil changes every 7,500 miles or once a year. You can change the oil Yourself, just remember when You change the oil to also change out the oil filter with a new one. You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.
