All the engine options; 2.0L inline-4, 2.4L inline-4, and 3.0L V6 engines; for the 2005 Honda Accord require 5W-20 full synthetic oil.
Depending on your climate and use of the car the oil weight ranges are 0w-20 to 0w40, 5w-20 to 5w-40 and 10w-30 to 10w-40. That is what is written in the manual of my 2005 2.0 155hp 5 speed manual accord.
