The 2008 Nissan Armada uses SAE 5W-30 oil. Nissan recommends using fully synthetic oil whenever You need to change it. There are two types of oil that can be found on the market these days, synthetic and conventional. Synthetic is a newer version of oil that is engineered in a lab to give You greater wear protection and longer life than the standard conventional petroleum based option. This means You should only need to change synthetic oil about every 7,500 miles compared to the 3,500 to 5,000 miles with conventional. I recommend checking Your oil at least once a month to make sure that it is full and free from any debris.
