The oil type for a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan will depend on what model of engine it is equipped with. The 3.3L and 3.8L models will need to use synthetic 5W-20 while the larger 4.0L models will need to use 10W-30 synthetic. If You want to change out the oil Yourself You'll be looking at spending about $40 on fluid costs to fill it up but if You decide to take it in to a shop it will be between $110 and $140. This van will have an oil drain plug with a head size of 16mm that will require 24 lbs-ft of torque to remove if using a torque wrench.

Dodge recommends using SAE 5W-20 engine oil for the 3.3L and 3.8L engines. For the 4.0L engine, Dodge recommends using SAE 10W-30 oil.
I use 5w20 castrol edge synthetic oil and it goes great.
