The type of oil that is recommended for the 2014 Kia Forte is SAE 5W-20 Synthetic for both the 1.8 L 4Cylinder and the 2.0 L 4Cylinder engine. The capacity for the vehicle iS4.2 quarts with a filter for both the 1.8 L 4Cylinder and the 2.0 L 4Cylinder engine. The drain plug on the car uses 25-32 ft/lbs of torque. It is important to change the oil every so often because it can go bad and it is used to help keep the engine clean. For the Forte the oil and the filter should be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. To do a change it can be done in about 5 to 15 minutes and it is a lot easier than You think.
